Preparing our learners for global citizenship in the world beyond school
FET Phase (Grade 10 to 12)
The FET is the final phase of formal schooling and where we prepare our learners for the National Senior Certificate (Matric) as well as life beyond school. As learners enter grade 10 they begin with their subject choices that are presented by subject specialists. Here our learners truly see the results of the educational pathway and partnership that many began with us in their first year of school. Special events such as the Matric dance, Valedictory service, leadership camp etc, make this an extraordinarily poignant part of school life.
The FET phase offers English (Home Language), Afrikaans (FIrst Additional Language) and Life Orientation as compulsory subjects. Thereafter learners can choose from our Science, Commercial and Humanities streams. Subjects offered are Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Accounting, Business Studies, History, Geography, Computer Applications Technology and Information Technology.
We are incredibly proud of our matric results and are always striving to improve the depth and quality of each learner’s achievement.
