About our school
Situated in Rustenburg in the North West Province, Fields College is an English medium, multicultural school which offers an innovative and transformational educational pathway for learners from preschool to Matric. We believe in the unique potential of every child to succeed in and beyond the classroom and are committed to offering quality education through a variety of learning opportunities in an evolving world.

The first English medium school in Rustenburg was founded on 16 April 1968 and a PTA committee formed to raise enough funds to open its doors. By 23 July 1968 Mr H Schutte was appointed as acting principal with 11 teachers and 302 pupils. By January 1970, Fields Primary had a name, an identity and by 20 July 1971 its own premises in Klopper Street. From humble beginnings, our school has continued to grow from strength to strength.

We are proudly on the journey of becoming a Google school which allows our learners access to the world of information as an additional learning tool. We have a digital learning platform (Google Classroom) which serves as a resource of information, blended learning and enrichment activities as well as a safety net should we need to close. Each learner has their own fields.net email account and can safely access all their schoolwork on line.
